About Us
Midvale Elementary is an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme and AdvancED STEM certified school in the DeKalb County School District. Midvale students continue their education at Tucker Middle School and Tucker High School. Midvale's students are from all over the world and the school culture and climate lend themselves to our students' growth as internationally-minded global citizens.

School Hours
7:45 AM - 2:20 PM
7:05 AM - Students may enter the building for breakfast.
7:20-7:40 - Morning Wiggle. 4th and 5th on Mondays and Wednesdays, 2nd and 3rd on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and K and 1st on Fridays.
7:35 - Students should arrive.
7:45 - Tardy bell. Instruction begins.
2:20 - Walkers and day care van riders released. Walkers are dismissed at the door to the far left of the school. If you meet your child(ren) on foot, please collect them at the walker door.
2:25 - Bus riders are escorted to buses. 
2:30 - Carpool begins. Cars should approach Midvale on Gleneagles Drive, coming from Henderson Road to turn right into the parking lot. 
2:45 - ASEDP participants are released to the cafeteria. Car riders not picked up join the ASEDP at a charge of $15.00.
