Midvale students are no strangers to giving-- every Friday is "Hat Day" where a donation of 50 cents buys the privilege of wearing a hat for the day. Money collected is donated to a community organization or charity, giving Midvale students the chance to affect change in their world.
Today, students were encouraged to wear a superhero cape. Inspired by Children's Healthcare of Atlanta patient DJ Pitts, CHOA established Cape Day Atlanta to highlight every child's ability to find an inner strength to face challenges. Read more about Cape Day Atlanta and CHOA here.
All money collected today will be donated to CHOA's Cape Day Atlanta fund.
