Midvale is now partnering with the United States Navy as part of the national SeaPerch effort to inspire students to pursue STEM careers, and to expose students to naval engineering and science. On December 5, Mr. Kitchen worked with Chief John Riley and Lt. Commander Nikki Peoples at the AIC where he engineered a SeaPerch underwater robot. Mr. Kitchen will take a team of Midvale's finest to a SeaPerch competition in March.
