Midvale Elementary is an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme and AdvancED STEM certified school in the DeKalb County School District. Midvale students continue their education at Tucker Middle School and Tucker High School. Midvale's students are from all over the world and the school culture and climate lend themselves to our students' growth as internationally-minded global citizens.

School Hours
7:45 AM - 2:15 PM
 
Arrival 
7:05 AM - Bus riding students may enter the building for breakfast or to report to homerooms.
7:15-7:40 - Car riders and walkers may enter the building for breakfast or to report to homerooms.
7:45 - Tardy bell. Instruction begins. 

 
Dismissal
2:15 - Day care van riders and walkers are dismissed. Walkers will be picked up from the door to the left of the main door.
2:20 - Bus riders are dismissed.
2:30 - Carpool dismissal begins. Cars must approach Midvale from Gleneagles Drive, coming from Henderson Road to turn right into the parking lot. Left turns into the parking lot are prohibited. Carpool ends at 2:45.
2:45 - ASEDP participants are released to the cafeteria.
